Another Weekend and Another Year Older

Well I told myself that I was going to try to update my blog every day, every other day at the most. Four days later, I have made it back. The weekend has come and is nearly gone, but it seems nothing much was accomplished on my to do list. Our big excitement was Brooklyn turning 5!!! She celebrated with a trip to the pet store for a new collar and a new baby and a pit stop for banana ice cream. Yes we celebrate the dog's birthdays...that is what happens when you don't have kids!!! I was hoping to get some pics of her this weekend outside, however we are being invaded by beetles. We put up some beetle bags so maybe one day this week I can get some pics of her once the bugs are gone. In the mean time, here are some misc current pics:

Here is Brooklyn...she is a Weimaraner.

And this is Miss Gracie...she is an Old English Mastiff.

A few scrapping things for you tonight as well. Up first is my take on kwernerdesign's Finally Friday video/card. You can visit her here:

Supplies Used: Stampin Up smooth white cardstock; We R Memory Keepers Patterned Paper; Fiskars and EK Success Punches; Scenic Route Rub-On and Craft Supply buttons.

Up next are a few cards based on a sketch that I had printed out to do and never got around to it at the time. I have no idea where it is from...

Supplies Used: Craft Supply Kraft card stock; Making Memories Garden Party patterned paper; American Crafts rub-ons; and Craft Supply twill, button and hemp.

And finally, I need to get more cards made for my Etsy shop, so I made a set of mini cards this afternoon. I absolutely love this cut from the Cricut Home Decor cartridge. These will be up for sale a little later on this evening in my shop.

Supplies Used: Craft Supply kraft card stock; Coordinations Vintage card stock; Stampin Up Whisper White card stock; Cricut Home Decore cartridge; EK Success Punch; and pop dots.

I hope to be adding a few more sets of the mini cards as well as some other cards throughout the week as I get them made, so keep checking back.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a great week!!!

Assortment of Cards

Today I have an assortment of cards that I have made over the last few months and never got around to posting anywhere.

These first two are my take of a card I saw in a back issue of Paper Crafts, possibly their gift issue or it may have been a Card Creations edition...I don't remember!!!

Supplies Used: Kraft cardstock, My Minds Eye and Scenic Route patterned paper, Stampin Up Curvy Verses stamps, Martha Stewart and Fiskars punches, craft supply hemp and pearls.

~~~~~
Next up is just a fun shaped birthday card I made with the Cricut Design Studio. I had to have the scallop edge, but this card can easily be made with just the cartridges.
Supplies Used: White cardstock, Fancy Pants patterned paper, Prima flowers, Making Memories rubon and craft supply button and brads.
~~~~~
This is a card I made using the new Simply Sweet Cricut Cartridge. I just love this cartridge...the alphabet and the great sentiments that are on it.

Supplies Used: kraft cardstock, SEI patterned paper, Fiskars punch, Simply Sweet cricut cartridge and craft supply button and hemp.

~~~~~
Well that is all I have for tonight. I have a few more cards to post but will save them for tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!!!
